What we build
Decks, porches, and everything in between.
Every TriPoint build is custom — designed for your yard, built to current code, and finished for the way you'll actually use the backyard. Family-run from the first walk-through to the final inspection.
01
Custom Decks
Designed for your yard, your grade and how you actually use the backyard — not pulled off a template.
TriPoint is one of the longest-tenured custom deck builders in Cary, Apex and Holly Springs. We design each deck around your house, your slope and your view — single-level, multi-level, wrap-around or pool deck — then build it to code with an engineer on staff. You settle the layout, the railings and the finish first, then we make exactly that.
02
Composite & Trex Decks
Low-maintenance Trex and TimberTech composite boards that shrug off Carolina sun, rain and pollen.
TriPoint states they are a TrexPro Platinum installer — Trex's highest certification tier — and also build in the TimberTech Harvest Collection. Composite decking means no annual staining or sealing: the boards resist fading, scratching and rot, so the deck looks the way it did on day one for decades with little more than a rinse.
03
Screened Porches
Entertain family and friends without the mosquitoes, pollen or afternoon storms.
A TriPoint screened porch turns a good backyard into a room you actually live in from spring through fall. We build the structure, roof, ceiling and screen system as one clean space — so you get the breeze and the view with none of the bugs. It's the project our reviewers most often say changed how they use their home.
04
Three-Season Rooms
A step up from a screened porch — glass, screens and finishes for spring, summer and fall comfort.
A three-season room adds windows and finished walls to a porch so you can use it comfortably across most of the year, closing it up on cooler or rainy days and opening it back up when the weather turns. We design the roof, glazing, ceiling and lighting so it reads as a genuine extension of the house, not an add-on.
05
Deck-to-Porch Conversions
Turn an old, open deck into a beautiful screened room you'll enjoy for years.
Already have a deck that's underused? TriPoint specializes in transforming an existing Cary, Apex or Holly Springs deck into a screened porch or three-season room. We assess the existing structure, reinforce or rebuild what needs it, and add the roof, screens and finishes — often faster and more cost-effectively than starting from scratch.
06
Deck Restoration & Replacement
Tear out a tired or unsafe deck and rebuild it to current best-practice design and code.
When a deck has aged past repair — soft boards, failing footings, out-of-date railings — we handle the full tear-down and rebuild. Reviewers describe TriPoint completing large tear-down-and-rebuild projects in just a few days, showing up on time every day and working fast, with the new deck built to today's structural code.
07
Pergolas & Sunrooms
Shade structures, pergolas and sunroom builds that finish the backyard as a whole.
Beyond decks and porches, TriPoint builds pergolas for shade and definition over a patio or seating area, and sunrooms that bring outdoor living fully indoors. We design these to match the materials, lines and finish of the rest of your outdoor space so the whole backyard looks intended, not assembled piece by piece.
08
Permits, HOA Approval & Inspections
We handle the paperwork most homeowners dread — permits, HOA sign-off and the final inspection.
This is the part that saves you the headaches. TriPoint pulls the building permits, prepares and submits HOA approval, and sees the project through to official inspection. A Town of Cary inspector once told a TriPoint client, unprompted, that they were in good hands — because the structural work and documentation hold up to scrutiny.
